So... How about that Healthcare

Well, since the Healthcare bill has now passed, I guess all thats left to do is bitch and moan and tear the shit out of it in true Fluffy Bunny style. So here goes:

1) This is the dumbest shit I've ever heard of. For starters, Universal Healthcare sucks. Period. It is too expensive, and there are so many loop holes and shortcuts and bylaws to the damn thing that you practically need a degree in Socio-Economic Anthropology to understand it. But the politicians that passed it don't give a shit because it won't apply to them.

2) The way the bill is written is asinine at best. And thats a stretch to give it that compliment. There is a $750.00 fine in there that you can get if you don't carry Health Insurance. There is also a clause saying that you can not deny someone Healthcare based on a pre-condition that they have. So basically, if you have to pay your own Healthcare, you can bite the $750.00 fine, whether thats a monthly or yearly fee(Because either way, its cheaper then paying for insurance) and as soon as you get sick, pop on into an insurance agent and get some Healthcare because they can't deny you.

3) One of the ways they plan on paying for this is by putting a 10% tax on Indoor Tanning. So they plan to punish men and women that want to look good, because they MIGHT get skin cancer which is expensive to treat. How about you cut the welfare benefits to people who have never worked a day in their lives? Or maybe you could tax women that get pregnant at the age of 15. I pay enough taxes already, and I have to foot the bill for this crap as well? Thats horseshit no matter how you look at it.

4) There is a clause that says Illegal Aliens can not get coverage, EVEN IF THEY PAY FOR IT THEMSELVES. Which means we are turning away immigrants who might be willing to pay for it, in order to insure some Jerry Springer reject who has 6 kids from 6 dads; lives in a government subsidized house; collects unemployment, food stamps, WIC, and a free cell phone; and has no intention of ever contributing to the Healthcare fund? Does that sound right to you?

Plain and simple, this bill is garbage. There is so much crap in this bill, I'm sure it left a shit smear on Obama's desk when he signed it.

Although, there is one way to look at it, and I'm going to summarize a quote from a friend of mine:

"I don't know why everyone's so upset. The bill doesn't take effect until 2014, and the world is gonna end in 2012, so there's nothing to worry about."
