It is a rare feat to be called perfect. Although none of us will ever be perfect, I'd like to send a thanks out to Roy Halladay, MLB's 20th pitcher to throw a perfect game. That's quite a feat!

Memorial Day

This weekend, many of you will gather with family and friends and have barbecues or picnics. You will celebrate Memorial Day as a day off, the opening of pools, and the unofficial start of summer. There is nothing wrong with that.

But I would ask that you remember the men and women who are unable to spend time with their families this weekend. Either having given their lives in defense of this country, or serving overseas to defend this country. Let us not forget the sacrifices made, so that we may all be free.

Enjoy this holiday. Enjoy this time off. But whatever you do, don't forget the men and women who make it possible.
